The highly anticipated Seiko Rowing Blazers partnership has officially returned for its fourth capsule collection, reviving one of the most coveted designs from their collaborative history: the “Rally Diver.” Working alongside vintage watch expert Eric Wind of Wind Vintage, the duo has introduced two fresh, colorful iterations of the classic 1960s-inspired timepiece.

This latest Rowing Blazers Seiko drop comes after a brief hiatus from their rapid-fire annual releases, offering collectors another chance at a design that heavily influenced the early hype of the partnership.

A Nod to Vintage Racing Heritage

The new release directly channels the aesthetic of the original 2021 collaboration (Reference SRPG49), which itself was a tribute to a late-1960s Seiko Rally Diver. That historical design holds a special place in the collaboration’s lore, as it was the very first vintage watch Eric Wind ever purchased.

While the 2021 iteration was highly limited to just 500 pieces, this updated Seiko Rowing Blazers release expands the production run significantly. Both the blue and green versions are individually numbered and limited to 2,500 pieces each, bringing the total worldwide release to 5,000 units.

Dialing in the Details: Two Sizes, Two Colors

For this capsule, the collaborators have chosen a split approach to case sizing and styling:

  • The Blue Rally Diver (Ref. SRPM19): Keeps the traditional 42.5mm Seiko 5 Sports case dimension (13.4mm thick).
  • The Green Rally Diver (Ref. SRPM21): Shrinks down to a highly requested, more compact 38mm case profile (12.1mm thick).

Both watches feature the signature checkered aluminum insert on a unidirectional rotating bezel, perfectly color-matched to their respective vibrant blue or deep forest green dials.

The dials feature double-branding, with the Rowing Blazers logo cleanly sitting above the 6 o’clock marker. A subtle but playful touch can be seen on the seconds hand, which features a distinctive red-and-white striped tip.

Technical Specifications & What’s in the Box

Beneath the dual-branded exterior, the timepieces rely on a trusted mechanical workhorse.

Feature Specification
Movement Seiko Caliber 4R36 (Automatic)
Power Reserve 41 hours
Frequency 21,600 vibrations per hour (VpH)
Water Resistance 100 meters
Case Material Stainless Steel

The exhibition caseback offers a view of the automatic movement, though it is partially stylized with a prominent print of Rowing Blazers’ iconic “Bath Club” dripping faucet motif alongside the Wind Vintage logo.

Each watch ships on a classic three-link stainless steel bracelet equipped with a standard stamped Seiko 5 clasp. True to the streetwear-meets-prep identity of the clothing brand, the box also includes an additional nylon NATO-style strap: a green strap for the blue watch, and a blue strap for the green watch.

Pricing and Availability

The Rowing Blazers Seiko 5 Sports capsule officially launches on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM ET. Both the 38mm green and 42.5mm blue versions are priced symmetrically at $495.

The limited-edition models will be available online via the official Seiko and Rowing Blazers e-commerce platforms, with a very limited allocation physical drop happening at the Rowing Blazers flagship brick-and-mortar location in New York City. Given the enduring popularity of the checkerboard Rally design, these are expected to move quickly among both watch enthusiasts and fashion collectors alike.
